   Sometimes only a little piece of Gilt Gingerbread will quieten a fine bull…

Some years ago, Jeremy Knight, who was the curator of Horsham Museum, sent Lesley a copy of this poster.

The fine bull clearly had good taste – none of the regular gingerbread for him, only the more expensive gilt gingerbread would stop him bellowing!

We wonder who bought the porcupine?

RIP Margaret Hatcher

Sadly, our oldest hen finally plodded out of our lives – during her last few days she kept nodding off while standing up, so we knew she was coming to the end of her very long life (11 years 4 months).

We think she was about 150 in hen years…
